ABOUT THE CURRICULUM
The Jewish Learning Experience, Beit Mishpacha curriculum is designed as a family program. Through age appropriate, interactive, experiential and project based learning we will delve into topics such as the Holidays and Shabbat; Hebrew/ prayers and blessings and their meanings; Bible stories from the Torah and Prophets and their meanings, Jewish ethics and values, Mitzvot and Tikkun Olam (making the world a better place).

The way we will approach the lessons are through both onsite and offsite programming. An example is cooking for Rosh HaShanah; meaning and customs of Yom Kippur; volunteering at a Soup Kitchen; bringing Shabbat to Assisted Living facilities; attending our monthly Family Shabbat dinners/family service; music; dance; art; stories; learning about our family history; and so many more enriching ways of learning and doing together.
In essence, Jewish Family Experience, Beit Mispacha aims to make Jewish life an integral and joyful part of family life, ensuring that Jewish heritage and values are passed down through generations in a meaningful and engaging way.
